Remember Sheela? That sultry Tamil import, who starred in forgettable films like ‘Hello Premistaara’ and ‘Raju Bhai’? Though she made a remarkable comeback in ‘Parugu’ opposite Allu Arjun, she’s almost out of sight in Tollywood of late.

The actress recently missed the 56th idea film fare (south) award for best actress but says she has no regrets and that she is more than happy that her “Parugu’ co-star won the award in the male category, saying ‘he is such a wonderful person and the backbone of the film’ and that she is happy that she ‘has received the audiences approval for her performance and that is all that counts’, the star was quoted as saying during at recent trip to Hyderabad.

Talking about ‘Maska’, the actress said “I wanted my producers to see me differently. I didn’t want to be trapped in the Indian girl image on screen. Except for producer M S Raju, most others had apprehensions about me doing a glam role. Now all of them think differently,”

The experiment liking actress has landed herself in a role that she exactly wanted in a new film opposite Jr. NTR and naturally she is all praise for co-star when she was asked of his dancing skills. The actress also said that he has become her ‘favorite’ actor and no there isn’t anything brewing here. For those of you who still have any qualms about that, her answer that she ‘shares a strictly professional relationship with my male co-stars. I also think I am too young to be romantically involved with someone at this point in my life. I can always think about love at a later stage. For now, work’s important for me, everything else comes later’ should be more than reassuring. Needless to say, this applies to all her co-stars.

If you think the actress is only into Tollywood wait till you read this – the actress made it really big in Malayalam with ‘Mayabazaar’ and scored delightfully in Kannada with ‘Prem Kahani’. Before you think she’s all glamour in those films, it will be nice to know that she was noticed for her acting skills, which will be very handy in her upcoming Tamil flick in which she plays the role of a ‘dotting Daighter’ of Prakash Raj.

Now, what’s really interesting with this girl is that she doesn’t seem indulge in any ‘catfights’ with her female co-stars and rivals – Yes! That includes Nayanathara and Hansika. Though she wasn’t all praise of the two actresses, she certainly knows a thing or two about diplomacy at the highest level.

What about the girl’s personal life? I am very attached to my parents and my younger brother and I try my best to spend my free time with them. No one has any complaints on that front. Well what about partying and clubbing. ‘It is a strict no’ and people find me very boring’ says she. The star who says yoga and sleeping a lot in free time are all that she does to maintain her glamour, isn’t all over the place in calling herself a bore and that her ‘Parugu’ co-star Allu Arjun even said that to her.
